Turnstiles headline Róisín Dubh

Updated: May 26, 2020

In the space of a year, Galway punks Turnstiles have gone from Libertines style gigs in friends' living rooms to a headline gig in the Róisín Dubh. Their blistering brand of punk coupled with lyrics of everyday life and lead singer Callum’s London drawl/shout has drawn national attention. And comparisons to acts as diverse as Buzzcocks, Mike Skinner and Blur. They won the Star Nation band competition in September and also released their first single Moving Forward/Wasting Away. In December they have new tracks to record and two gigs supporting Alan McGee's new signing The Clockworks. And with further headline gigs in Galway and Limerick in 2020, now is the time to catch them in an intimate gig.
