What is Blowtorch Records?

Blowtorch Records is a website and digital record label setup by Richard in 2018. The idea is to give unsigned, independent musicians a digital space and promotion for their recorded music. We look after publicity while you make music.

Where are you based?

Blowtorch Records is based in Galway, Ireland. As we are primarily a digital label, we can deal with musicians worldwide. Check out artists in Ireland, UK, USA and Australia

How much do you charge to be on Blowtorch Records?

There is no charge for a page on the Blowtorch Records site. It's about promoting music that we love as a partnership with you. If your music is a good fit for us and you can provide all the content we need then we'd love to hear from you.

What services do you offer?

Your free web page will contain your biography, imagery, videos, social media links and tracks which can be set to stream or free/paid download. We will promote your music across our own social media channels and via blogs and podcasts at no cost. We can also your any physical releases and merch in our online shop. We can arrange paid promotion via Facebook, Instagram, banner ads etc. We can get your tracks onto Spotify via our aggregator Record Union We can get your tracks mixed and mastered using a variety of great people we have worked with previously.

Can you help me get my tracks onto Spotify?

Yes we can answer all your streaming platform questions. We can get your tracks onto Spotify, Shaazam, Apple, Amazon etc working with our aggregator Record Union.

Do you offer physical releases?

Although primarily a digital label, we can arrange for your singles, EPs or albums to be released on CD or vinyl. We can also sell these for you using our secure e-commerce platform.

Can you help with mixing and mastering?

Yes we have worked with a number of great people who we can put you in contact with. For example Katie Tavini did a great job mastering Turnstiles' Same Old Stories
