Undercover Martians live in Roisin Dubh

Undercover Martians are the latest in a long line of great Irish rock bands. Hailing from both sides of the Donegal-Leitrim border, the four piece band merges classic rock and punk indie sensibilities, drawing influences from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Interpol and Green Day. The bands four members are Bundoran's Killian Fox and Michael McGloin on guitar and drums respectively with Kinlough's Dáithí McGloin and Rory Sweeney on vocals/guitar and bass.

After forming in 2017 while still in school, they made a strong impression on the college rock scene in Galway City in 2018, playing gigs in the iconic Róisín Dubh and a live set on Flirt FM.

In 2019 the band reached new heights with the release of their debut single 'Francesca'. This super catchy track was recorded and produced by Anthony Wall and showcases just why they are destined to be one of the most exciting musical acts in the country.

Following up with the Television-like Angels Call and the thrashier Wandering Eye, they are rapidly cornering a niche of quirky Irish indie.

Their latest single Window Shopping was released on December 17 2021.
