BLOWTORCH RECORDS: BANDS/ARTISTS

Blowtorch Records is an independent record label based in Galway on the West coast of Ireland. It offers a boutique home for Irish bands and artists. Their aim is to promote Irish punk, post punk, shoegaze and electronica through fairly priced physical releases, typically on vinyl but also on CD and cassette. Although adopting an art-driven rather than commerce-centric approach, they have successfully manned the independent, DIY bunker for over 7 years with lauded releases from seminal Irish acts such as Adore, Search Results, Nerves, pôt-pot, Virgins and Pebbledash.
