Dublin trio Search Results provide an alternative take on the current Irish post punk/alt rock scene.

Sharing vocal duties, Fionn Brennan (guitar), Jack Condon (drums) and Adam Hoban (bass) formed Search Results after moving to Dublin in 2019. Bonding over a love for punk and garage rock, emulating the energy of bands like Parquet Courts and The Velvet Underground, they spent much of their time during the pandemic writing songs. 

 

The new album Information Blip is their debut LP following 2021’s Mirrors EP and 2022’s No Punchline Arousal EP. It was recorded and mastered by the band and Darragh Hansard (of Dublin psych band Thee UFO) in his Orc's Lair studio.

Flower Rock Rain was the first single from the Information Blip album released in June 2023. This was followed by an Irish co-headline tour this July with Thee U.F.O including gigs in Limerick, Cork, Galway, Sligo, Belfast and Dublin.

Previously Search Results have played to a sold-out Fred Zeppelins in Cork and performed at TiLT in the Button Factory following an interview on Dublin City FM.

 

To begin 2023, Search Results performed to an over filled room as part of the Whelans 'Ones to Watch' Festival. Since then they have supported the likes of Junk Drawer, Skinner and Banrion and played Galway's Free House Festival.
