The Blowtorch Records house band. In 1988 Pixies released Surfer Rosa and nothing was ever the same again. Their melodic dynamism and uncluttered bass rhythms are a constant influence and along with The Smiths drive us forward to make intelligent, skewed music independent of any trends. And they got the nod for naming the band.
