An experimental noise punk band hailing from Counties Mayo and Wicklow, Ireland, Nerves have built a reputation as one of the most deafening and brutal bands Ireland has to offer. With a string of high profile support slots across Europe and Ireland with Gurriers, Maruja and The Jesus Lizard, to a slew of festival appearances including Electric Picnic, Left of the Dial Rotterdam, Other Voices and Ritual Fest Rennes - the band has built a devoted fanbase of their chaotic yet cathartic live show.

Nerves have released two vinyl EPs via Blowtorch Records. 2024 saw the release of Glórach and in 2025 they released Iarmhaireacht  - both produced by Dan Fox of Gilla Band.

Originally a trio with Kyle Thornton on guitar and vocals, Adam Nealon on drums and Charlie McCarthy on bass, they expanded to a four piece when Charlie left to join Gurriers and Eoin Keigher (guitar), and Ryan Mortell (bass) joined.
