Hiraeth is the debut EP from Galway garage psych punks Puck and is out now on all streaming platforms, CD and a 12'" black vinyl record.
EP: Hiraeth
Band: Puck
Release date: November 21 2025

Out today, November 21, is Hiraeth, the debut EP from Galway neo psychedelic, garage punk five piece Puck.
Trailed by two singles, Caricature and Tír gan anam, Hiraeth (the Welsh word for a deep longing for something, especially one's home) is about as Blowtorch as it gets. A new Galway psych punk band who learnt how to record themselves, self produced their debut EP, had it mastered by friend of Blowtorch Darragh Hansard (Unique Freaks) at his Orc's Lair studio and designed their own artwork.
A resolutely DIY outfit, this was what Puck had to say about the making of this cracking debut: "We are so excited to finally have this out in the world for your ears. It's been a long, gruelling process of recording ourselves in our cold icebox of a practice space. That said we had so much fun and learned so much throughout the process and no matter the end product we’re proud we did it ourselves. So we hope you enjoy our semi lo-fi crusty music."
The EP track listing is as follows:
A
Greens
Caricature
Healthwhere?
B
Autonomy
Tír gan anam
Hiraeth
