The final day of our video coverage from SXSW but don't be sad. As Paulo Coelho de Souza sagely said "If you're brave enough to say goodbye, life will treat you with a new hello." We'll be doing this all again for Brighton's Great Escape festival in May.

First out of the blocks today is Melbourne punks CIVIC who "... joyfully obliterate the line between furious catharsis and unbridled fun"

There's a great punk scene in Australia at the moment - we are huge fans of Sydney synth punks GEE TEE - and CIVIC are continuing the vibes and the capitalisation.

Blowing up big are femme queer punk band from New York City Sorry Mom. With debut album babyface due to be released on May 12th, 2023 it's going to be a big year for the riotgrrrl trio of Kari, Juno and Taryn.

To finish off with Personal Trainer. The Amsterdam-based collective look like they are getting plenty of exercise and hopefully will get a bigger stage (and more money) next year.
