Fan favourite Townie Girl is the last single from SexyTadhg's new vinyl record TADHG before the main EP release on May 28

Further to our announcement that SexyTadhg's debut vinyl EP TADHG will release on streaming platforms on May 28, with a hot pink vinyl record available via Blowtorch Records, there is one final single release.
Townie Girl is a much loved fan favourite and live gig love-in sing-along and is out now on all streaming platforms.
Townie Girl and The Slag of Carlow Town are on side A of the record and are the two liveliest tracks on the EP. As Tadhg has noted these are tunes which recontextualise original traditional reels and jigs through a distinctly feminine lens. Placing the overlooked female identies of Ireland on the pedestal they deserve. Tadhg continues "These tunes are inspired by my love for artist’s like The Mary Wallopers and Biird who allowed me to place my own identity into trad music and reconnect with a musical genre I felt so distant from."
