The Oozes announce debut album with lead single 'Pump Out Some Kids'

The Oozes, SE London based art-punk queercore duo have released Pump Out Some Kids, the first single from their debut album due in January 2027. Their first release in over two years, the track is a fast-paced, angular outburst of frustration over the vilification of the trans community by transphobic campaigners and their influence over the healthcare system.
Pump Out Some Kids gives a trans-feminist perspective on the harmful rhetoric of trans exclusionary groups, whose primary focus points directly contradict the belief system they claim to operate under. Performed from this opposing point of view, the lyrics are deliberately extreme and visceral, holding a spotlight to the absurd hypocrisy occupying the forefront of the “trans debate” and pushing through fatal changes to legislation.
“Don't waste your fertile body on not wanting to die
You're letting all the breeders down now I'm gonna cry
How could you even think about removing that gift?
A plump and throbbing uterus to pump out some kids”
“Let's put that orifice into the law
You've got your name and pronouns now, how could you want more?
and don't you even think about ruining your tits
I'd miss them so i'll tell you what to do with your bits”
The single is the first glimpse at a larger concept album, about navigating intersectionality within political spaces, disrupting stability in structures of power and pushing against the relentless suppression of community, used to maintain the holds of capitalism, fascism and colonialism.
We are thrilled that there will be a vinyl version available through Blowtorch Records which marks a deliberate choice from the band to remain independent.
The track was produced by Daniel Fox of Gilla Band (Sprints, Lambrini Girls, Naked Lungs), mixed by Anthony Chapman (Mclusky, Future of the Left, Collapsed Lung)
and mastered by Hippy Baldwin at Metropolis Studios.
The Oozes are supporting Electric Six during November and December in O2 Academy venues across the UK and Ireland. They embark on a headline tour in January-February 2027 following the album release.
